Massage Therapy: because feeling good is good for us!

Home

Welcome to Feeling Good!

I offer client-centered bodywork on beautiful Whidbey Island.  Your goals are the foundation for each custom session.  I am committed to listening to your story and aligning my work with your needs.

I employ a variety of evidenced-informed techniques to support your good health, to address pain and dysfunction and injury, and to offer you the therapeutic experience of feeling good.  My work is grounded in a fascination with anatomy, physiology, human movement, and the neuroscience of sensation.

A massage therapy session is an opportunity to practice the skills of relaxation and self-awareness. Because stress and anxiety underlie and exacerbate many challenging conditions –physical, mental, emotional, spiritual – bringing attention to messages from the body can be a powerful tool in managing these pressures.  By stimulating a parasympathetic response in the autonomic nervous system, massage can reset painful patterns and support healing.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me; I am delighted to discuss my services.  I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.

I was raised in the desert, I discovered myself in the mountains, and I now live by the sea.  I come to my practice as a bodyworker with a profound reverence for the ever-changing seasons of life and the miracle of our moving bodies.  I am honored to offer the medicine of touch.

A note about my location:

My massage studio is within the historic farmhouse where I live in Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve.  You will need to walk on a bit of gravel and grass and climb three stairs; please let me know if you need any accommodations.  Two friendly felines also live in the house; though they are never allowed in the massage space, individuals with severe allergies should be aware of their presence.
